Chris Smith’s current work investigates how people travel through the public space, and how the public sphere affects the way we travel. He combines projected video into sculpture, and monitors into everyday objects, marrying high technology with blue-collar material. He believes materials help to navigate concept and that there isn’t a line between art and audience.
